Shelly has been my coach, guide and friend for the last few years. I met Shelly a few years ago when I started attending her group x classes. I loved her energy and style.We took our relationship one step ahead by getting personally trained by her. She understands the human anatomy and knows how to work around the different conditions - both physical and mental, that people come to her with. She completely surprised me by pushing me beyond what I thought I was capable of doing. She helped me learn the right techniques of working out and supported me with any questions I had outside of our time together. Here you go! The best at what she does. The woman lives, breathes, and eats fitness. Not "feeling it" today? Just wait till you get a random text mid morning with just the inspiration you need. If she wasn't such an awesome physical trainer, I have no doubt she'd be a motivational speaker or life coach.I lost 20 lbs in three months with Shelly. This is the smallest I have been since I was in High school and I am loving it.She assessed my strengthens and weakness and designed every session to fit my personality and stamina. Working out with Shelly is never dull, bc she's constantly switching up your routine, and exposing you to new things.The best part of working out with Shelly is that she understood my body type within a few sessions and appropriately guided me to follow a achievable fitness routine. I am a vegetarian and its hard to go on any diets to help you loose that extra fatty pounds but Shelly found innovative and sustainable food choices for me which I still follow. Pairing the right food with the right excercise is a big part of personal fitness.I see many other trainers working with clients in my gym, and I can honestly say none of them hold a candle to Shelly. While those other guys are just counting off reps, Shelly is putting in work WITH you. She'll run alongside you, get down and join you for burpees (while talking, no problem =) ), and somehow keep you going till the end of your session. Whether or not you have the strength to walk home afterwards, is on you.Its been over a year now and I can honestly say that if Shelly had not shown me the right path to fitness this would not have become a lifestyle choice. I was 45 years old, over weight and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My doctor recommended me to loose 20 lb within one year or get knee surgery within the next ten months. Right away, my husband and I decided to do everything in our control to loose weight , we did not know where to start. That is when we came to know of Shelly Rojas and signed up for her personal training. Since then, I have lost 29 lb. have become leaner and much stronger. Shelly's attention to details during our sessions helped me be more mindful of my workouts and not injure myself due to the improper use of the machines. In additional, Shelly taught me the science behind being well hydrated and how it helps in achieving maximum intensity and uninterrupted workouts. The increased fitness enabled me to walk five miles and hike with very little or no soreness. During training sessions, she always gives 100% attention. One can only understand what I am saying by training with her. She is truly passionate about workout and you can see how much she enjoys working out. During our training sessions I realized the kind of attention that she gives me, is unparalleled. That attention she paid to my physical needs and toning was possible only with Shelly's "tailor made" workout combos, just for me. By doing that she helped me to push myself to the next level. No amount of reading and attending group class would have given me that edge in fitness to get strong. She educated me in how to properly warmup, to achieve Fat burning zone and to transition to the next routine without drastically slowing down my heart rate. Remember my Doctors’ diagnosis to have a knee surgery? What knee surgery? My doctors were so happy for my weight loss and reminded me to maintain the weight and stay strong. One has to experience Shelly to understand her true passion for fitness! Shelly you are an awesome human being and outstanding trainer!

About a year ago we decided to make a change in our lives. With encouragement from our cousin Tina, we decided to join the a fitness program with Marco. For the first six months we took classes and worked out on the equipment but were not seeing the results we had hoped for. Then somehow (and we still have no idea how) Marco used his power of persuasion to convince us to try a round of personal training with him. Since starting personal training we have seen huge changes in our physical appearance, level of endurance, and overall health. With Marco, we have lost a combined weight of over eighty pounds and have dropped several pant sizes. The results have been amazing but so has the experience of training with Marco. Not only has he been there to push us beyond our limits but he has proven to be a great friend, listening and using words of encouragement through difficult and stressful times. Marco makes sure to change up the routines each week so we never get bored and if what they say about laughter being the best medicine is true, we sure get our dose each week working out with him. Who would have thought that working out could be so much fun. He’s funny and always has something new which makes the training time fly by quickly! I don’t even know where to start… I was fortunate to have become acquainted with Shelly Rojas. I had a lot of health issues when I met Shelly 6 years ago and have been training ever since. Under her care, I have improved remarkably. She has made a huge difference in my life. I am thankful to her for where I am today, strong and happy..:-) With her experience in physical fitness, she can adjust her exercise programs to any age group and is capable of determining the individual abilities of her clients.
